Author: Beyond caring: learning from the unsung advocates in cancer care (2018)

Broadly, carers in and outside cancer contribute around £132 billion in unpaid care every year - only just shy of the £134 billion that is spent in UK public health spending. However despite this, carers are an often underappreciated stakeholder in what pharma calls the ‘treatment journey’.
